By Jay Messar

The boys regional final round begins one week from Friday, and some league races are already getting down to the nitty gritty as teams vie for regional positioning. Before Monday's games this week, five of the seven conference dual seasons have crowned at least one champion. Kenosha Tremper (Southeast) was the first, while Kaukauna (Fox Valley Association), Beloit Memorial (Big Eight), Catholic Memorial (Classic Eight) and Nicolet (North Shore) have clinched at least a share of a confernce title while only Tremper and Catholic Memorial have clinched outright titles. Two leagues will come down to this week's slate as the Greater Metro showdown with Marquette and Tosa East Wednesday will clinch the sixth conference champ.

Following is a list of the boys volleyball conference races as they sit through scores reported through last week. Any missing scores or amendments can be sent to jay@wissports.net.

Key:
CAPS - Clinched at least a share of dual season league title.
BOLD - Clinched dual season title outright.
* Please keep in mind that some conferences also use a league tournament to name a champion. We'll add those results when those tournaments are completed. But for now, these are just for the dual season.
