Kenosha St. Joseph's running back Chris Madden ran for a school record 388 yard in Week 8, and was even better in a Week 9 win over Racine Lutheran. He carried the ball 35 times for 438 yards and 6 touchdowns, becoming the fourth player this year to rush for over 400 yards in a game. His yardage total is now sixth on the all-time single game rushing list in Wisconsin history. Four of the top six single game performances were posted this season.

Montello/Princeton/Green Lake senior Matt Sosinsky's name is all over the state record books, and he wrapped up an outstanding regular season with a 9 catch, 233 yard performance that included five touchdowns as the Phoenix handled Markesan 52-0. Already the career receiving touchdown leader in state history, he has moved into second place on the single season list with 20. One more touchdown will tie him with Prairie Farm's Ryan Knutson while two more will break the mark. Sosinsky leads the state in 2011 with 64 catches and those 20 touchdowns, while his 1110 yards rank second behind only Wilmot's Matt Christensen.
