Favorite Sport: “Baseball because I have been playing it for my entire life. It’s a big part of our family life and I just love playing baseball. My dad played at Lincoln, and my brother is a freshman at Lincoln and he’ll play baseball as well. Our family is also involved in the Little League program in Wisconsin Rapids.”

Best Part of High School Sports: “Being around your teammates. You make so many friends playing sports. You have that bond with them for the rest of your life.”

Best Advice from a High School Coach: “To stick together when times are getting tough. It’s easy to stay together when things are going well, but sticking together when things aren’t going smoothly is probably the No. 1 thing I’ve learned over the years.”

Most Memorable Moment in High School Sports: “I’ve had multiple walk-off hits in baseball, but playing in Camp Randall for the state football championship was a great experience, even though we lost.”

Best Part of Playing Three Sports: “The dedication it takes. You have to work hard all the way through. You go from season to season and make bonds with all of your teammates. That’s definitely the best part.”

Toughest Part of Playing Three Sports: “Staying with it and keeping your grades up. Pleasing all the coaches can be difficult because they all want you to play their sport during the offseason.”

Favorite Opponent: “Definitely, SPASH. It’s always SPASH. Coming from Wisconsin Rapids, SPASH always seems to play well against us. It’s fun to play against SPASH and it’s great competition.”

Favorite College Team: Wisconsin Badgers.

Favorite Professional Teams: Green Bay Packer, Milwaukee Bucks, Milwaukee Brewers.

Cumulative GPA: 3.20.

Toughest Individual You’ve Competed Against: “The guy I always seem to run into is Elliot Ashbeck of Marshfield because he plays football, basketball and baseball just like me. He’s a good player and does all the same things I do.”

College Plans: “I want to play baseball and have been looking into Creighton and Bradley. UW-Stevens Point is also an option along with Beloit College. At this point, I’m keeping my options open.”
