Best Advice from a High School Coach: “Coach John Koopman told me not to get down on the younger guys on the basketball team because they look up to you. They take compliments better than they take putdowns.”

Most Memorable Moment in High School Sports: “This year in the first round of the football playoffs, we played Potosi, which was ranked No. 1 in Division 7. I threw a touchdown pass to James Griffin that puts us ahead to win the game.”

Best Part of Playing Three Sports: “Like I said earlier, it keeps you in good shape. There really is no off season. I play summer basketball and then football starts up against in August, so there is very little down time. I love sports so playing three sports is a very good thing for me.”

Toughest Part of Playing Three Sports: “It does get pretty tiring at times. It can be stressful, especially if your team is not winning.”

Favorite Opponents: “My favorite team to play against is Royall. From kindergarten through fifth grade, I went to Royall so I’m good friends with a lot of their players. It’s always good to get back with those guys and talk with them. And they’ve all been pretty good games, too.”
