Heather Bowe of Regis and Jenny Lindner of Neillsville are unanimous picks to headline the selections for the 2012 Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association Division 4 All-State Team.

Bowe, a Vanderbilt recruit, is a three-time First Team All-State pick and has the Ramblers back at the state tournament after claiming the Division 4 title last season. A well-rounded player, the 6-0 Bowe averages 21.1 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 3 steals per game while shooting 65.1% from the floor and 86.2% from the free throw line.

Lindner earned First Team All-State honors in Division 3 last season and has helped the Warriors to a perfect 26-0 record heading into this weekend's Division 4 state tournament. She led the team in scoring again at 13 points per game while contributing 4.1 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 steals per contest.

Bowe, Lindner (Division 3 last year), LeCaptain, Lindstrom, Petermann, and Prochaska are repeat selections this season.

Albrecht was an Honorable Mention All-State choice last year and used a huge senior season to earn First Team honors this season. The 5-7 senior guard helped the Demons to an unbeaten Trailways-South title by averaging 19.6 points, 3.8 rebounds, 4.2 assists, and 4.4 steals per game.

Effertz was part of a very young Ladysmith team that won the Heart O'North Conference championship, advanced to the sectional finals, and finished 24-2 overall. The 5-9 sophomore forward averaged 14.4 points per game for the Lumberjills this season.

LeCaptain had another outstanding season for the Wolves, leading the team to a share of the Packerland Conference title, 23-2 record, and sectional semi-final appearance. The versatile 6-0 senior forward averaged 13.4 points per contest for head coach Mark Zastrow.

Lindstrom does it all for the Tigers, averaging a team-best 16.8 points per game while also leading the team in rebounds, assists, and steals. The Northern Illinois recruit is one of the best defensive players in the state, harassing the opposition and averaging 4.5 steals per game.

Maki came up huge this season for the Midgets, who won the Indianhead-East, finished the regular season unbeaten, and advanced to sectional semi-final play. She finished her career with a strong senior season, averaging 16.3 points per game.

Ortiz is a whiz with the ball in her hands and one of the state's most exciting and creative players. The 5-7 sophomore guard, who holds offers from Wisconsin and Marquette amongst others, averaged 18.8 points, 5.6 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 2.6 steals per game.

Petermann has helped Lourdes advance to the state tournament after knocking on the door the last several years. A versatile 6-0 guard/forward, Petermann averages 12.6 points and 7.7 rebounds per game for the high-scoring Knights.

Prochaska has posted eye-popping numbers for the Golden Eagles. In leading Fennimore to a share of the league title, 22-3 overall record, and appearance in the sectional semi-finals, Prochaska led the team in scoring (23.4 points per game), rebounding (5.9 rpg), assists (4.4 apg), and steals (5.1 spg).
