Favorite Sport: “Basketball, mainly because Prentice is a basketball school. We have always been very successful in basketball. I always dreamed of playing at the Kohl Center in the WIAA State Tournament so it’s the sport I always worked on the most.”

Best Part of High School Sports: “Just being with my friends and playing all the sports with them. I also like the competition. I’ve gotten to know other athletes from other towns. Being successful is also a good feeling. It also gives me something to do besides just sitting around.”

Best Advice from a High School Coach: “Just to always be a role model and leader to the younger guys, whether it’s being a leader in practice or taking stuff we work on in practice over to the games. Also being a good sport. Taking the losses as losses while also celebrating the wins.”

Most Memorable Moment in High School Sports: “Scoring 1,000 points in basketball during our regional game this year against Owen-Withee. Also, beating Auburndale this year in the Marawood Conference cross-over game. That was a very good game and Auburndale was a very good team.”

Best Part of Playing Three Sports: “Probably not having any time to sit around and be lazy. I think it helps with my grades in school. Time management is a big key. Improving myself in one sport to make myself better in the next is always good. I just enjoy competing with my friends and attempting to make our team better each season.”

Toughest Part of Playing Three Sports: “The physical stress it puts on your body. You don’t have a lot of time to relax.”

Favorite Opponents: “Rib Lake for basketball and baseball. We coop in football so we know all of those guys. It’s fun competing against them. In football, it’s Edgar, even though it’s not always enjoyable. Trying to beat the best is fun.”

Favorite College Team: Wisconsin Badgers.

Favorite Professional Teams: Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers, Oklahoma City Thunder.

Cumulative GPA: 4.0.

Toughest Individual You’ve Competed Against: “Cody Hanke of Marathon in basketball or Tyler Ketz from Clayton in basketball. Daniel Petkau from Rib Lake is another one. Those three stick out.”

College Plans: “I will be attending UW-Eau Claire. I am thinking about studying criminal justice. Not sure if I am going to try to play basketball or football. I’m kind of on the fence about that right now.”

Activities Outside of Sports: National Honor Society, Student Council, Students Against Destructive Decisions, Prentice Athletic Club, Youth Group at Ogema Baptist Church.

I Find it Relaxing to: “Play X Box, hang out with my friends on weekends, go fishing and hunting. I also like to go to the gym and play basketball or football with my friends.”

Favorite TV show: “SportsCenter.”

Favorite Movie: “Remember The Titans.”

Favorite Musical Artists: “M&M, Three Days Grace.”
