Favorite Sport: “It would be basketball. I started at a young age with my mom and dad playing on our ‘little tikes’ hoops downstairs. It’s also the sport I’ve spent the most time playing and I’ve grown to love it.”

Best Part of High School Sports: “High school sports are great because it allows you to meet a whole bunch of different people, whether it’s on the same team or on an opposite team.”

Best Advice from a High School Coach: “Brian Bauer, my assistant coach in basketball, always told us to, ‘Give It Your Best And Live With It.’ That was kind of his slogan and he put it up on the chalkboard before every game. The last thing I think about before going onto the field or court is to give it my best and live with it. If you do that before each game, you’ll have no regrets.”

Most Memorable Moment in High School Sports: “Probably when I was brought up to the varsity basketball team as a freshman and we were 16-0 and ranked in the state at one point in the season. Playing against Madison Memorial in the sectional semifinals at Waunakee and playing against guys like Vander Blue and Jeronne Maymon. That was a lot of fun and very memorable.”

Best Part of Playing Three Sports: “I really think it keeps you competitive throughout the entire year. It always keeps you meeting new people throughout the year. Being a competitor, it’s nice to be able to jump to a new season when the other season ends.”

Toughest Part of Playing Three Sports: “The toughest part is really trying to please every coach. When you have three coaches you are dealing with and you have to make choice at times, it can make one coach unhappy. That can be frustrating, but overall it worked out pretty well.”

Favorite Opponents: “My favorite opponent would be Reedsburg. It’s our biggest rival. Whenever we play them, it seems to go into overtime. In football my senior year, the game went into triple overtime and we wound up winning.”

Favorite College Teams: Wisconsin Badgers in football and basketball along with Kentucky and Marquette in basketball.

Favorite Professional Teams: Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers.

Cumulative GPA: 3.33.

Toughest Individual You’ve Competed Against: “It would probably be Brandon Staffeil of DeForest in our conference. We are really good friends so it’s a lot of fun to play against him.”

College Plans: “I plan to play basketball at Stevens Point. I’m going to look to major in education.”

Activities Outside of Sports: Future Business Leaders in America, work youth basketball camps at Baraboo High School, volunteer for the Meals on Wheels program.

I Find it Relaxing to: “A big thing I like to do with my dad is play golf. We aren’t very good, so it leads to a good battle. I beat him once.”

Favorite TV show: “SportsCenter.”

Favorite Movie: “Bench Warmers.”

Favorite Musical Artists: “Lil Wayne, Jay-Z.”

Favorite Subject: Human Anatomy.

Favorite Restaurant: Noodles & Company. “I get the Mac and Cheese every single time.”
