August 20-26 Team Winner: Oshkosh West Girls Volleyball

Oskhosh West girls volleyball has been selected as the Army National Guard Team of the Week for the week of August 20 to the 26th following a statewide vote on WisSports.net. They narrowly beat out Marquette Univeristy boys soccer in the voting.
Oshkosh West dropped only one set in the eight mateches and collected three wins on Saturday to take the championship at the UW-Stout Sprawl. Allie Ruger was named to the all-tournament team and led the Wildcats with 30 kills, 11 blocks and 5 aces on Saturday.
