2012 Enrollment Breakdown

Warning!  These are just projections.

In case you are new to high school football in Wisconsin, you know that divisions are not determined until the end of the year when the field of 224 playoff teams is determined.  From there the field is divided into even 32 team divisions.  

Every year we give our best effort on placing teams in divisions based on their new enrollment number and history.  With 16 teams leaving to play 8-man football this could be turned on it's head, but we gave it our best effort. 

First, let's take a look at the historical cutoffs:

Below is where we placed the cutoffs for this season.  Again, this is just a projection and it can and will change. 

A few interesting tidbits:

Waukesha West, who won the Division 1 state title in 2010 and advanced to Level 4 last year, almost certainly will drop to Division 2.

It's possible that Homestead sitting at 1355 could end up in D2 this season.

Brookfield Central and Brookfield East, projected as two of the top D1 teams this summer will most likely both play in D2.  

Big Foot sits towards the bottom of the D3 cutoff once again after appearing in D3 last year after three straight D4 appearances, including back-to-back trips to the state title game in 2008 & 2009.
