WisSports.net Week 4 Team of the Week Nominees:

Belleville -- It has been a while since Belleville has experienced success on the football field. Coming into Week 4 the Wildcats had not won a game since defeating Wisconsin Heights on October 8, 2010, a losing streak that had spanned 14 games. With the loss of Albany as a co-op partner this season, it was expected to be another tough year. However, the team pulled off a shocker on Friday, beating a strong Waterloo program 18-14 to claim its first win of the year. Running back Jacob Kowalski was a workhorse, carrying the ball 38 times for 176 yards and 1 touchdown.

Chilton -- Defending Division 4 champion Wrightstown had staved off tough challenges from Kewaunee and Roncalli already this season, but couldn't get by upstart Chilton, who missed the playoffs last year. After Wrightstown went ahead 14-6 early in the third quarter, Chilton answered with a pair of touchdowns in a two minute span covering the end of the third quarter and beginning of the fourth. The Tigers roared back with a score of their own, but Chilton put the game away with two touchdowns in the final 5:16 of the contest for a 33-21 victory. Quarterback Andrew Huss completed 10 of 14 passes for 154 yards and rushed for 122 yards and three scores.

Medford -- Medford took a big step towards qualifying for the postseason with a convincing 31-7 victory over Antigo, last year's Great Northern Conference champ, on Friday. The Raiders scored in every quarter, and quickly answered the lone Red Robins points with a 66-yard touchdown from Austin Salzgeber to John Keefe in the second quarter. Salzgeber was outstanding, completing 10 of 13 passes for 190 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Muskego -- The Warriors were a senior-dominated team last year, going 10-2 overall with both losses to eventual D1 state champion Kenosha Bradford. Muskego started 1-2 this year with league losses to Arrowhead and Mukwonago. With a combination of graduation losses and injuries, Muskego suited up 22 different starters on Friday night against Waukesha West than they did last season. The Warriors trailed 28-27 with just over three minutes left, but closed strong to claim a 41-28 win.

Pewaukee -- The Pirates squared off with fellow unbeaten Greendale on Friday with first place in the redesigned Woodland-West on the line. It was a tough back and forth affair most of the way, and the teams were deadlocked at 24 heading into the fourth quarter. Senior quarterback T.J. Watt, a senior quarterback who moved from tight end prior to the start of the year, executed a beautiful fake to the running back and rolled in from 13 yards out for the go-ahead score. Pewaukee would add another to make the final 38-24.
