Please note, divisional placement in our poll is based on our Enrollment Projections done earlier this week. Divisional placement in the WIAA playoffs is not determined until after the season and these projections can and will be different than the divisions at the end of the year.

Division 1:

Top-ranked Arrowhead continued to motor along, scoring a 48-7 win over Kettle Moraine. There was a change in the #2 spot however, as previously unbeaten Sussex Hamilton went down to Menomonee Falls, dropping the Chargers to #7 this week. Sun Prairie moves up to the second spot, followed by Appleton North, Kimberly, and Homestead. Middleton, ranked 9th last week, suffered its first loss of the season to Big Eight rival Verona, dropping the Cardinals from the rankings. Green Bay Preble moves into the 10th spot this week.

Division 2:

The Division 2 rankings look much the same as last week, with no change in the top six spots of the poll. Waunakee is the unanimous choice once again and is coming off a 76-20 blowout of Baraboo. Brookfield East, Marshfield, Green Bay Southwest, and Menomonie remain in the top five. Brookfield Central fell to crosstown rival Brookfield East and dropped out of the rankings with a 3-2 overall record. Cedarburg also lost and fell out, with unbeaten La Crosse Central and one-loss Watertown moving into this week's rankings.

Division 3:

The beat goes on for West De Pere, as the Phantoms are the unanimous choice atop the D3 poll once again. Wisconsin Lutheran is a unanimous #2 choice as well. Pewaukee slid in front of Pewaukee for the #3 position, while Waupaca edged in front of Kewaskum for the 5th spot. Former #9 East Troy was the only ranked team to go down, and the Trojans fell out of the poll this week. Seymour is 5-0 on the season and tied with West De Pere atop the Bay Conference. The Thunder move into this week's poll at #10.

Division 4:

Somerset holds down the top spot in the Division 4 poll for a second straight week, while Lakeside Lutheran is once again #2. The Warriors took down #3 Lake Mills in a big rivalry game last Friday, dropping the L-Cats to 9th this week. Chilton makes a big jump from #6 to #3. Little Chute fell to Waupaca in a key Eastern Valley contest and the Mustangs fell from #8 to out of the rankings.

Division 5:

As it has been every week of the season, Lancaster is #1 in the Division 5 Coaches Poll. There's a change at #2 however as Brillion went down in a tight game to Wrightstown, dropping the Lions to 5th this week. Amherst moves up to #2, with Stanley-Boyd and Elk Mound coming in 3rd and 4th respectively. Colby fell to Elk Mound, dropping the defending champion Hornets to 3-2 on the year, although their two losses have come to teams with a combined 10-0 record on the season. Colby moves from 4th to 6th this week as the highest-ranked two-loss team of any division. Stratford and Cumberland went down at the bottom of the poll, with Laconia and Ozaukee moving in this week.

Division 6:

Most of the poll is unchanged this week as no ranked teams lost in Week 5. Saint Mary's Springs is #1, with Regis, Edgar, Hilbert, and Bangor once again rounding out the top five. The only change in this week's poll results from Ozaukee incorrectly being placed in D6 last week rather than D5 where their enrollment currently projects them. Whitehall is on top of the Dairyland and moves into this week's poll at #10.

Division 7:

The top of the D7 rankings continues to be particularly crowded, with only a few points separating Clayton, Randolph, Lake Country Lutheran, and Potosi. Unbeatens Highland and Suring are close behind. Previously 6th-ranked Rio and 7th-ranked Hillsboro suffered losses last week, with only Rio able to hang onto a spot in this week's poll. Owen-Withee and Pepin/Alma move back into this week's rankings.
