Favorite Sport: “My favorite would be softball because I have been playing the sport since I was six years old. Our whole family is really into softball. My dad, who is also my coach, played baseball when he attended Newman Catholic. It’s a big family sport.”

Best Part of High School Sports: “I enjoy being with the team and making memories along the way. You develop relationships with them that will last forever.”

Best Advice from a High School Coach: “All of my coaches have said that for every single game, it’s what you come with and the intensity you bring that matters the most.”

Most Memorable Moment in High School Sports: “Probably just the chance to go to the state tournament and experience the state tournament so many times. I’ve gone five times already that those experiences in general have been highlights.”

Best Part of Playing Three Sports: “The best part is being with all of the different girls in each season. If you play just one sport, you have your friendships with teammates in just one sport. But if you play three sports, you have that many more experiences and the chance to make that many more friends, both on your team and from the different schools.”

Toughest Part of Playing Three Sports: “Definitely time management and choosing one sport over another, especially in the summer. Picking one sport over another is difficult along with time management with school, especially as a senior. I am taking three AP English, AP Calculus and AP Bio so you have to use your study halls wisely.”

Favorite Opponent: “The teams I get most excited to play against would be the schools in the city. I play softball with a bunch of West and East girls in the summer and getting to play against them in the different sports makes it that much more competitive. It’s definitely fun to play against them in all of the different sports.”

Favorite Professional Teams: Milwaukee Brewers, Green Bay Packers.

Favorite College Teams: Wisconsin Badgers.

Cumulative GPA: 3.9.

Toughest Individual You’ve Competed Against: “Kimberley Steif. We are really good friends and we’ve been competing together in all three sports throughout high school. She’s really pushed me in all three of sports and that has helped me.”

College Plans: “I’m undecided at this point. Wisconsin is a possibility. I plan to get involved with softball, either through intramurals or on the varsity team. I want to go into the medical field.”

Activities Outside of Sports: National Honor Society (co-secretary), help at St. Michael’s Church in Wausau for funerals, help with youth camps in volleyball, basketball and softball at Newman Catholic, help coach youth softball teams in Wausau.

I Find it Relaxing to: “I definitely like to go up north or just hang out with my friends. I like to go hunting as well. Spending time with family and my grandparents is fun along with watching other family members compete in sports.”

Favorite TV show: “CSI.”

Favorite Movie: “Happy Gilmore.”
