Athlete of the Week Nominees for November 19-25

Below are the nominees for th Army National Guard Athlete of the Week for the week of November 19 through 25. Voting is open until Thursday at 4pm, so be sure to vote for who you feel is most deserving and spread the word.

Mackenzie Latt, Sussex Hamilton girls' basketball. Latt scored 31 points on 14-18 shooting in a 45-37 win over Pius XI in the championship game at the Hank Raymonds Holiday Classic at Pius. In the Charges first game of the tournament against Whitefish Bay, Latt totaled 19 points in their 49-29 victory over the Blue Dukes.

Morgan Anderson, De Pere girls' basketball. Anderson finished with 16 points in the Redbirds 50-32 win over WisSports.net Preseason #1 Milwaukee Riverside on Friday night at the Brookfield Central Thanksgiving Shootout. On Saturday, #4 De Pere beat Divine Savior Holy Angels 49-38 and Anderson collected 16 points in the contest. 

Madison Laube, Barneveld girls' basketball. Laube scored 17 points in the Golden Eagles (Preseason #4 in D5) 67-49 win over Waukesha North (D2 school) on Friday night at the Mount Horeb Tournament. On Saturday, Madison finished with 15 points in their win over host Mount Horeb in the championship game.  

Mitchell School, Wittenberg-Biramwood boys' basketball. School surpassed 1,000 career points after scoring 30 points on Tuesday night in the Chargers 51-48 win over Mosinee. He also totaled 10 rebounds in the game. 

Trevor Anderson, Stevens Point boys' basketball. Anderson scored a game-high 27 points in the Panthers 66-50 win over Madison Edgewood on Friday at the Fort HealthCare Classic. Anderson totaled 23 points in a 56-35 win against Green Bay East in SPASH's opening game of the season on Tuesday night. He also finished with 15 points in a 59-36 win over Milton on Saturday at the Fort HealthCare Classic.
