North Dakota State University won the Division 1-FCS National Title last year and have advanced to the semi-finals this year when they take on Georgia Southern on Friday. The Bison have long recruited the state of Wisconsin hard, and feature Brock Jensen (Waupaca), Justin Juckem (Chilton), and Colten Heagle (Kimberly) as prominent players on this year's team. In all there are 14 former Wisconsin high school athletes on the roster.

There will be another one next year in Prescott senior two-way lineman Nick Jacobsen (6-5, 305).

"He verbally committed to North Dakota State on Tuesday night," Prescott head coach Matt Smith told WSN. "He's pretty excited."

Jacobsen picked NDSU over an offer from ACC member Pitt as well as the Bison's rival North Dakota.

He's coming off an outstanding senior season that saw him garner WFCA All-State recognition on both sides of the ball.
