Wisconsin Sports Network is proud to showcase the WSN High School Basketball Awards.

The pre-season watch list was trimmed down to 15 semi-finalists, and five finalists for the award have now been selected. Winners are announced the week of the state tournament. Finalists are eligible for just one of the five awards. There will be a total of 25 finalists for the five awards, five different players for each award.

WSN Senior Girls Basketball Awards -- Wing Finalists:

Samantha Terry, Baraboo -- The UW-Green Bay recruit has been outstanding this season and has the T-Birds two wins away from the Division 2 state tournament. The 6-0 senior is averaging 18.6 points, 8.7 rebounds, 3 steals and 2.8 assists per contest.

McKayla Yentz, Sun Prairie -- The Cardinals finished in fifth place in the tough Big Eight Conference but behind the stellar play of Yentz (6-1) they have reached a sectional semi-final. The Marquette recruit is strong off the dribble and can take over a game, averaging 20 points per game.

Morgan Blumer, Milton -- Blumer has guided the Red Hawks to a sectional semi-final appearance. The Florida Gulf Coast recruit can create her own shot with the dribble and is also effective on the outside. Heading into sectionals she is averaging 18.1 points per contest.

Cassidy Mihalko, Franklin -- Milhalko has been a key piece in the Sabers' success this season with her ability to score. The 5-10 senior also has a high basketball IQ and is a ball hawk on the defensive end. Heading into sectionals, the California Baptist recruit is averaging 19.6 points per game.

Brenna Heise, New London -- Heise has stepped her game up in a big way to move the Bulldogs winning streak to over 60 games. The Michigan Tech recruit attacks the rim and shoots over 50% from the field. She is averaging 16.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 3 steals per contest.
