Turner Botz of Little Chute and Bronson Koenig of Little Chute lead the way as unanimous selections to the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association Division 3 All-State Team.

Botz, Marshall junior Cam Ward and East Troy senior Nathan Dodge are repeat first-team picks from a year ago.

Botz (6-6) led Little Chute to the title in the Eastern Valley Conference for the fourth straight season by averaging 16.0 points and 6.6 rebounds per game. The four-year varsity performer and Green Bay recruit shot 51 percent from the floor and made several huge plays down the stretch to help the Mustangs turn back rival Appleton Xavier, 41-40, in a sectional semifinal.

Koenig (6-3) is a lock-down defender and more than capable scorer from his point-guard position. An outstanding passer, Koenig led a balanced Aquinas scoring attack by averaging 16.9 ppg for coach Rick Schneider. The future Wisconsin Badger also averaged nearly 4.0 apg for the Blugolds.

Ward (6-2) was named Player of the Year in the Southern Division of the Capitol Conference after averaging 23.4 ppg for a Marshall squad that went 22-3 and won the league title with a 10-0 record. A smooth offensive player, Ward has received strong recruiting interest from a number of NCAA Division I schools.

Dodge (6-3) is a physically strong and highly competitive combination guard who can get to the basket and finish above the rim or drain three-point shots from well beyond the three-point arc. The Army recruit averaged 19.0 ppg and 5.4 apg while helping East Troy to a berth in the WIAA State Tournament with a 23-3 record.

The rest of the first team includes Wisconsin Dells senior M.J. Delmore, Berlin senior Toby Hegner, Little Chute senior Kenneth Lowe, East Troy senior Brett Prahl, Lodi junior Jordan Shea and Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau senior Tim Wagner.

Delmore (5-11) is a highly skilled point guard who makes shots from all over the floor and handles the ball as well as any other lead guard in the state. The Southwest Minnesota State recruit earned first-team all-South Central Conference honors after averaging 21.5 ppg for a Wisconsin Dells team that finished 24-2.

Hegner (6-9) turned in a fantastic season at Berlin, averaging 20.8 ppg and 12.7 rpg for a team that improved by eight games over a year ago. The Indians went 19-7 and advanced to the Division 3 sectional finals before falling to East Troy. Hegner is a skilled wing forward who will play college basketball at Creighton University.

Lowe (6-8) is an athletic wing player who can soar to the rim or make shots facing the basket. He will join teammate Turner Botz at Green Bay in the fall and averaged 12.1 ppg and 6.1 rpg while blocking more than 45 shots this season.

Prahl (6-9) teamed with his twin brother, Alex (6-9), to give East Troy coach Darryl Rayfield a dominant frontline. Brett Prahl led the Trojans in both scoring (20.4 ppg) and rebounding (12.4 rpg) and will head to Milwaukee in the fall to play for coach Rob Jeter and the Panthers.

Shea (6-4) was named Player of the Year in the Northern Division of the Capitol Conference and helped Lodi to the WIAA State Tournament for the second year in a row with his solid all-around play. A strong defender who can score in a variety of ways, Shea averaged 15.1 ppg, 7.0 rpg and 5.4 rpg for coach Mitch Hauser and the Blue Devils.

Wagner (6-3) is one of the premier long-distance shooters in Wisconsin and averaged 23.6 ppg for a Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau squad that shared the Coulee Conference championship with Luther. Wagner poured in a career-high 41 points in a victory over Blair-Taylor as a senior.
