Juniors Mackenzie Latt of Sussex Hamilton and Jessica Lindstrom of Superior join Arike Ogunbowale of DSHA as unanimous selections on the Division 1 Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association All-State Team.

Latt, a 6-1 forward, averaged north of 19 points and 6 rebounds per game while also leading the Chargers in steals and block shots.  She led Sussex to a 21-3 record and currently holds offers from several Division 1 college programs including Milwaukee and Green Bay.

Lindstrom has been putting up big numbers for the Spartans since her freshman year on varsity and helped lead Superior to the state tournament this season.  Lindstrom, who is averaging 21.9 points per game this season, is already the leading scorer in Superior high school history, surpassing the 1300 point mark in early February.

Ogunbowale averaged 20.9 points, 9 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game for a Divine Savior Holy Angels team that went 21-4 on the season.   She is slowly becoming one of the most heavily recruited girls in Wisconsin history, currently holding 11 BCS conference offers including Wisconsin and Marquette.

Joining Latt, Lindstrom and Ogunbowale on the first team were Morgan Anderson of De Pere, Breanna Lewis of Milwaukee Riverside, Cassidy Mihalko of Franklin, Tamya Sims of Oak Creek, Jenny Tuttle of Mukwonago, Frankie Wurtz of Kimberly and McKayla Yentz of Sun Prairie.

Anderson, a 5-9 senior, led De Pere to a spotless record before falling in the sectional semi-final to Kimbelry.  She averaged 13.2 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.7 assists for the season and helped lead the Red Birds to a State Championship as a junior.

Breanna Lewis averaged 15.5 points and 13 rebounds per game leading Riverside to a City Conference Championship and a birth in the State Tournament.  The 6-5 post player is heading to Kansas State next season to play basketball for the Wildcats.

Mihalko, a 5-10 senior, averaged 19.5 points per game for a 21-5 Franklin squad.  She is heading to California Baptist next year to play in the NCCAA.

Sims, a junior, teamed with fellow junior and honorable mention selection Steph Kostowicz to control the paint for a Knights team that was ranked towards the top of Division 1 all-season.  Standing 6-2, the forward averaged close to 15 points per game for a 23-2 Oak Creek squad.

Tuttle filled up the box score to the tune of 14.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 3 steals per game for Mukwonago and will head to Winona State to play for the Warriors next season. The 5-7 senior guard helped the Indians win a Classic Eight title and book a trip to the state tournament.

Wurtz, just a sophomore, was a unanimous all-conference selection for Coach Troy Cullen and the Papermakers.  The 5-8 guard aveaged 15.3 points per game and led Kimberly to a 23-3 record and an appearance in the sectional final.

Yentz, a Marquette recruit, averaged 19.8 points per game for the Cardinals.  The 6-foot-1 inch forward helped the Cardinals reach the sectional final despite a regular season that found them in the middle of the pack in the Big 8.
