Favorite Sport: “For me, whatever season I’m in at the time is my favorite. If I had to pick one sport, though, it would be volleyball. I’m happy to be playing volleyball in college, but I truly love all three sports.”

Best Part of High School Sports: “Just playing with a great group of girls in every sport. We have some overlapping of teammates in the different sports at St. Catherine’s so it’s really great to be playing with all of my friends.”

Best Advice from a High School Coach: “My basketball coach, Sean Brady, told us to accept the challenge and face everything head on. I definitely have that in my in all three sports I play. And my softball coach, Mary Kasinski, told us this year to concentrate on having fun. So I try to use all of that as much as I can.”

Most Memorable Moment in High School Sports: “I’ve had a lot of great games over the years, but the one that sticks out was our win over The Prairie School in basketball this year. We had a great crowd, and we were able to beat them to tie for the conference title.”

Best Part of Playing Three Sports: “Probably multi-tasking and learning to prioritize things. You don’t have time to do everything so you have to use your time wisely. Learning how to multi-task with everything along with prioritizing my time are the most important things I’ve learned through playing three sports.”

Toughest Part of Playing Three Sports: “I would say the toughest thing is being able to concentrate on one sport. I want to be the best I can be in all of the sports and sometimes it’s frustrating because you only have so much time for each sport. Getting ready for the next season ahead of time is probably the hardest thing for me.”

Favorite Opponent: “For volleyball, it would be Burlington Catholic Central. Conference is always on the line when we play them. In basketball, it would be The Prairie School. That’s a big Racine rivalry. In softball, I would say Racine Lutheran. It’s another Racine rivalry and always a big game.”

Favorite Professional Teams: Green Bay Packers

Favorite College Teams: Wisconsin Badgers, Minnesota Gophers.

Cumulative GPA: 3.9.

Toughest Individual You’ve Competed Against: “Gabrielle Oriz of The Prairie School. She is a talented athlete and every time we play her, she is always the person we have to watch out for.”

College Plans: “I will be playing volleyball at Minnesota-Duluth. I am planning on becoming a high school math teacher and also hope to coach.”

Activities Outside of Sports: National Honor Society, Angel Ambassadors, volunteer tutor, volunteer with youth basketball camps at St. Catherine’s and the local grade schools.

I Find it Relaxing to: “When I do have the occasional free time, I definitely like to hang out with my friends.”

Favorite TV show: “Grey’s Anatomy.”

Favorite Movie: “Harry Potter series.”

Favorite Musical Artists: “I’m pretty flexibile … I’ll listen to pretty much anything that’s on the radio.”

Favorite Subject: Math.

Favorite Restaurant: Chipotle in Racine.
