Fifteen boys and fifteen girls have been named to the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association 2013 Academic All-State team. The honorees will be presented with their awards at the WBCA All-Star game banquet the night before the all-star games in Wisconsin Dells.

The annual award goes to the top senior boys and girls that display excellence in the classroom as well as on the court. Coaches nominate their players and the excecutive board votes for the award during their spring meeting.

In addition, teams that achieve outstanding academic performance are recognized as well. In boys basketball, Stevens Point (3.60 cumulative GPA), Menomonie (3.64), Berlin (3.72), Edgar (3.73), and Cochrane-Fountain City (3.71) won the Team Academic All-State honors in their respective divisions. On the girls side, Stevens Point (3.81 cumulative GPA), Rice Lake (3.73), Bloomer (3.92), Kenosha Christian Life (3.94), and Elmwood (3.85) took home the awards in their divisions for Team Academic All-State.
