Favorite Sport: “Basketball is my favorite. It has always been my favorite sport and I’ve played it the longest. I enjoy the team aspect of it and working together with my classmates. I also like the diversity of the game and the skill set needed to play.”

Best Part of High School Sports: “Probably being able to compete throughout the year along with learning how to work hard together as a team.”

Best Advice from a High School Coach: “Leave everything out there like it’s the last time you will be playing. Whether it’s practice or a game, to give it everything you’ve got. All of my coaches in each of my three sports stressed that during my high school career.”

Most Memorable Moment in High School Sports: “Most memorable for me was when I was able to sign a NCAA Division II scholarship to attend Winona State for basketball last fall.”

Best Part of Playing Three Sports: “Always being active. I love any sport I play. Being involved in different activities is a lot of fun.”

Toughest Part of Playing Three Sports: “Time management. Being able to be at practice every day and also getting your homework done can be a challenge at times.”

Favorite Opponent: “For me, it varied. It was usually the school that had the best team or player because you get to stack up and see how much better than were than you or if you can beat them, you feel like you can be the best.”

Favorite Professional Teams: “I don’t really follow professional sports. I’d rather be playing than watching them."

Favorite College Teams: “I don’t follow any college sports teams, either. Just not enough time.”

Cumulative GPA: 3.95.

Toughest Individual You’ve Competed Against: “Chelsea Nooker of Bay Port. I played with her on my summer AAU team and have gotten to know her pretty well. It’s fun to compete against her during the high school season rather than with her like during the AAU season. She is going to attend St. Cloud University and play basketball so I’ll be playing against her in college, too."

College Plans: “I will be playing basketball at Winoan State and hope to become a physician’s assistant.”

Activities Outside of Sports: National Honor Society, Student Athletic Council, volunteer time to help with Manitowoc Lincoln youth basketball camps in the summer.

I Find it Relaxing to: “I like to hang out with friends and family. I also like to go hunting, mostly deer hunting though I’ve also gone turkey hunting.”

Favorite TV show: “Modern Family.”

Favorite Movie: “I don’t really have a favorite movie. I like to watch a variety of movies.”

Favorite Musical Artists: “I listen to a variety of music, but my favorite artist is probably Taylor Swift.”

Favorite Subject: Science.

Favorite Restaurant: The Dugout in Manitowoc.

Other Family Members: Father, Ralph; mother, Heidi; older brothers, Zachary, Brennan; younger sisters, Gabby, Storm.
