Wisconsin Sports Network is proud to showcase the WSN Senior Baseball Awards.
The pre-season watch list has been trimmed down to six finalists. Winners are announced the week of the spring baseball state tournament.
WSN Senior Baseball Awards -- Infielder/Catcher Finalists:
Jordan Daane, Waupun -- Daane, an Honorable Mention All-State pick last year, has been outstanding again as a senior. He's currently hitting .424 with 3 home runs, 36 RBI, and 30 runs scored. His OPS is a very impressive 1.201.
Evan Deegan, Edgerton -- Deegan is one of the state's elite top of the order hitters in the state. An Honorable Mention All-State pick last season he is hitting .471 during his senior campaign with 24 runs scored and 18 steals as the Tiders head to sectionals.
Clark Eagan, Appleton North -- Eagan was a Second Team All-State choice last year and could be in line for First Team recognition as a senior. In helping the Lightning to a top ten ranking in D1 much of the year he hit .556 with 17 extra base hits and 15 steals.
Jake Kolasinski, Brookfield Academy -- Kolaskinski has put up impressive numbers in his senior season, batting .571 with 5 home runs, 38 RBI, 34 runs, and 12 steals. That includes a 4 home run, 10 RBI game against Wayland Academy on May 20th.
Billy Lawton, University School of Milwaukee -- Lawton is one of the top two-way players in the state, excelling as a pitcher and hitter. At the plate he hit .508 this year with a 1.413 OPS, 4 home runs, and 34 RBI.
Drew Neuville, Bay Port -- Neuville has been the top hitter in one of the state's toughest conference's, winning the batting Triple Crown in the FRCC. He hit .519 with 4 home runs and 34 RBI in the 16 conference games this season. Named FRCC Co-Player of the Year.
