The Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Association held its All-Star Classic over the weekend in Oshkosh, with six games over two days. The North, South, and West squads went 2-1 while the East team finished 0-3, although all three of their losses came by 1 run.
In the first game of the event Friday evening, the South All-Stars clipped the North 7-4. The West beat the East 3-2 in the second game. On Saturday, the South team opened action with a 3-2 victory over the East before the North topped the West 2-0. The West beat the south 4-2 before the North's 5-4 win over the East closed out the action.
Appleton North's Clark Eagan was named the Tom Nygaard MVP winner, scoring the winning run in Game 6 and hitting a 3-run homer in the first game.
