Favorite Sport: “Basketball. It has always been my favorite sport. I just always loved playing and watching the game while growing up and it’s still my favorite sport today.”

Best Part of High School Sport: “My two favorite parts are the fan support and the teammates. Every team comes with different athletes and each team has a unique personality.”

Best Advice from a High School Coach: “Going into high school, I was unsure that I’d play all three sports, so the best advice I got from a coach would be to stick with the sports and I’m certainly glad I did.”

Most Memorable Moment in High School Sports: “Beating Little Chute in the regional championship my sophomore year. The crowd and atmosphere was electric and to pull off the upset win at the time was something I’ll never forget.”

Best Part of Playing Three Sports: “The best part of playing three sports is all the memories made. Some of my best times in high school have been on a field/court/diamond with my best friends having fun and competing against other schools.”

Toughest Part of Playing Three Sports: “The most difficult part is the time management. Being in three sports, an assortment of clubs, and keeping up with grades is something very challenging for anyone.” 

Favorite Opponent: “I always love playing Little Chute. No matter the sport, the game will be hard fought and emotional.”

Favorite Professional Teams: Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Bucks, Milwaukee Brewers.

Favorite Professional Athlete: Chris Paul.

Favorite College Teams: Duke (basketball) and Oregon (football).

Toughest Individual You’ve Competed Against: “Dylan Hecker from Winneconne.  As a three-sport athlete, he almost single-handedly beat us in football and brought the regional championship game in basketball to overtime. He also started on the baseball team.”

Most Admired High School Teammate: “Jared Plamann from the football team. He works harder than anyone I know and is an outstanding player.”

College Plans: “Not sure where I’m attending, but I plan to major in either business or something medical related.”

Activities Outside of Sports: Future Business Leaders of America, Student Government, Xavier Honor Society, Link Crew, Spanish Honor Society, many service projects, including helping out with the football autism camp and basketball Special Olympics event, volunteering at numerous youth sports camps, helping senior citizens on “Help Your Neighbor” day, and participating in a mission trip to Montana last summer. I also work some weekends on the WCC at Bertram Dental Lab.

I Find it Relaxing to: “Hang out with friends on the weekends, go up north, play video games, and watch Netflix.”
