WIAC Athletes of the Week 
(Week of Sept. 16 - 22)

FOOTBALL
Offense
Ryan Kusilek, Sophomore (River Falls, Wis.), Quarterback of UW-River Falls
Kusilek set a UW-River Falls single-game record with 479 yards of total offense in the team’s 35-34 loss at Simpson College (Iowa) on Sept. 21.  He was the leading rusher in the game, finishing with 135 yards and he scored one touchdown.  Kusilek also completed 22-of-43 passes for 344 yards and four touchdowns.  His touchdown run covered 34-yards and his touchdown passes covered 15-, 36-, 4- and 11-yards.

Defense
Andrew Keister, Senior (Evansville, Ill.), Defensive Back of UW-Whitewater
Keister recovered a fumble and returned it 30 yards for a touchdown to give the Warhawks a 45-7 lead before halftime in their 55-14 win over Buffalo State College (N.Y.) on Sept. 21.  He contributed four tackles, including three solo to a UW-Whitewater defense that allowed just 182 yards of offense and forced six turnovers.  Keister broke up a pass in the endzone on a Buffalo State attempt on second and goal from the three yardline to keep the Bengals off the board.

Litchfield remains perfect on the year on extra point attempts and was 9-for-9 in a 63-34 victory at Lewis & Clark College (Ore.) on Sept. 21.  Against the Pioneers, he also totaled five touchbacks and averaged 64.4 yards per kickoff.
