Athlete of the Week Nominees, September 23-29
Below are the nominees for the Army National Guard Athlete of the Week for the week of September 23 through 29. Voting is open until Thursday at 4pm, so be sure to vote for who you feel is most deserving and spread the word.
Branden Baumeister, North Crawford football, finished with 221 yards on 22 carries and 4 touchdowns in their 54-28 win over Milwaukee Bradley Tech on Saturday.
Savannah Kohlhagen, Union Grove girls volleyball, collected 68 kills, 68 digs and 5 blocks to lead the Broncos to the title at the UW-Oshkosh Showdown.
Ryan Nameth, Verona boys cross country, won the Midwest Invitational where 236 runners competed on Saturday in the boys event. He ran the 5,000 meter course in 15 minutes, 46 seconds.
Nolan Reuter, Burlington boys volleyball, helped the Demons to the championship at the Fort Atkinson Invitational on Saturday. He finished with 35 kills and 7 blocks in four matches.
Colten Seibel, Bloomer football, collected 256 yards on 29 carries and reached the end zone 5 times in their 33-7 win over Spooner on Friday.
