Splash of the Week: Saint Croix Falls football

Saint Croix Falls handed Webster their first loss of the season on Friday night. The Saints are this week's PlayintheDells.com Splash of the Week.

Saint Croix Falls (3-5, 2-3) defeated previously unbeaten Webster 36-26 on Friday night in Lakeland-North action. 

The Saints finished with 496 yards of total offense, racked up 25 first downs, and doubled up Webster in time of possession. 

Joe Rademacher led Saint Croix Falls' ground attack with 162 yard on 21 carries and one touchdown. Brennon McPherson carried the ball 9 times for 123 yards and a touchdown, Brian Gilbert compiled 85 yards on 10 carries and a score, and Chris Swanson had a carry for 9 yards in the win. 

Quarterback Alex Johnson went 8-for-14 passing for 111 yards and a touchdown, he also finished with a touchdown on the ground. 

Niko Neuman was on the receiving end of Johnson's touchdown pass and finished with 3 catches for 38 yards. Three other Saints had receptions in the game, Jacob Jacobson had 3 catches for 33 yards, Cooper Peterson caught one ball for 29 yards, and Brian Gilbert added one catch for 11 yards. 

Saint Croix Falls can become playoff eligible with a win over Frederic (3-5, 2-3) on Friday night.
