Muskego boys soccer defeated Marquette University and Kenosha Bradford in sectionals to reach the Division 1 WIAA State Tournament. The Warriors are this week's PlayintheDells.com Splash of the Week.
Muskego knocked off three-time defending Division 1 Champion Marquette University 1-0 in a Sectional Semifinal on Thursday.
Danny Baumann scored the lone goal of the game, assisted by Brody Kraussel. Brandon Kaebisch compiled 5 saves for the Warriors.
In sectional finals, the Warriors defeated Kenosha Bradford 5-0 to reach the state tournament for the first time since winning the Division 1 State Title in 2009.
Mitchell Pope led Muskego with 2 goals, while Brad Pradarelli, Ryan Beczkiewicz, and Kraussel each had a goal in the win.
Muskego will play top-ranked Arrowhead in a Division 1 State Semifinal on Friday at 5pm.
