Athlete of the Week Nominees, November 11-17

Below are the nominees for the Army National Guard Athlete of the Week for the week of November 11 through 17. Voting is open until Thursday at 4pm, so be sure to vote for who you feel is most deserving and spread the word. Users may vote once per day.

Bridgette Alexander, Milton girls swimming, won the gold in the 100 backstroke for the fourth time after posting a time of 56.21. She is just the 14th swimmer to win a sate title in the same event four times.  

Joe Coplan, Marquette boys volleyball, helped the Hilltoppers to their 7th State Championship after collecting 60 kills in three matches, including 22 in the championship match win over Germantown.

Cooper Radtke, Oshkosh North football, caught 4 passes for 204 yard and 2 touchdowns. He also had in interception in their 38-0 win over Menasha to advance to the Division 1 State Championship game. 

Tanner Sweeney, Black Hawk football, carried the ball 22 times for 277 yards and 4 touchdowns in their win over Lake Country Lutheran to advance to the Division 7 State Title game. 

Nate Tranel, Lancaster football, finished with 7 carriers for 229 yards and 4 touchdowns in their 52-26 victory over Kewaunee to advance to the Division 5 State Championship game.
