Athlete of the Week: Chloe Wanink, Cameron

Chloe Wanink of Cameron girls basketball has been selected as the WSN Athlete of the Week for the week of December 2 through 8 after a statewide votes on WisSports.net.
There were 3662 votes this week, Wanink received 1524 of the votes. Malik Clements of Madison West boys basketball finished second with 917 votes.
Wanink scored 49 points in the Comets 90-61 win over Shell Lake. Her 49 points is 6th most in the girls single game scoring list for the state.
Remember, the only way your favorite player can be named WSN's Athlete of the Week is to vote and spread the word. Nominations can be sent to norbert.durst@sportngin.com. Look for next week's nominees to be posted on Sunday evening.
