Athlete of the Week: Trey Hewuse, Tomah

Trey Hewuse of Tomah boys basketball has been selected as the WSN Athlete of the Week for the week of December 9 through 15 after a statewide vote on WisSports.net.
There were 4006 total votes, Hewuse received 1524 of them. Brent Gassner of Mayville boys basketball finished second in the voting with 1095 votes.
Hewuse scored 34 points to lead the Timberwolves past Reedsburg 49-46 in overtime.
Remember, the only way your favorite player can be named WSN's Athlete of the Week is to vote and spread the word. Nominations can be sent to norbert.durst@sportngin.com. Look for next week's nominees to be posted on Sunday evening.
