Jessica Kelliher of Waukesha North girls basketball has been selected as the Sport Ngin Athlete of the Week for the week of February 3 through 9 after a statewide vote on WisSports.net. 

There were 6,404 votes cast this week with Kelliher receiving 2,125. Michael Wilson of Fond du Lac boys hockey finished in second with 1,843 votes. 

Kelliher, a 6-foot junior, scored a school-record 37 points in the Northstars 69-56 win over Greendale on Tuesday. One day earlier, she scored the game-winning basket in a 49-47 win over Waukesha West and finished with 12 points. She also scored 8 points in a 42-32 win against Waukesha South on Friday. 

Jessica is averaging 21 points per game for the Northstars and became the school's all-time leading scorer on Tuesday night. She has 1,158 for her career.
