Wisconsin boys and girls All-Stars to compete in Rising Senior Academy in Indiana

Twenty of the top class of 2015 prospects in the state will represent Wisconsin in the 2014 Rising Senior Academy, scheduled for July 14-15 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Teams from Washington, Indiana, Ohio, Iowa and Wisconsin will take part in the boys' competition of the event while teams from Indiana, Iowa, Ohio and Wisconsin comprise the girls' field.

The Wisconsin boys will play the All-Star team from Washington at 9:50 a.m. on July 14 followed by a game against Iowa at 8:00 p.m.

On July 15, Wisconsin squares off against Ohio at 9:30 a.m. and against Indiana at 1:00 p.m.

On the girls' side, Wisconsin plays Iowa at 9:50 a.m. and Ohio at 8:00 p.m. on July 14 before meeting Ohio at 9:30 a.m. on July 15.

All games are played at Davis High School in Indianapolis.

Members of the talented Wisconsin boys' team include guards Nick Noskowiak (6-3) of Sun Prairie, Brevin Pritzl (6-3) of De Pere, Sy Staver (6-0) of Mineral Point, Zach Gaines (6-4) of Cuba City and Brandon Key (5-11) of West Allis Central; along with wings and forwards Matt Heldt (6-11) of Neenah, Kyle Monroe (6-5) of Ashwaubenon, Nick McGlynn (6-8) of Stoughton, Levi Bradley (6-7) of Milwaukee Pius XI and JT Ruffin (6-6) of Sun Prairie.

Coaches for the Wisconsin squad include Cuba City's Jerry Petitgoue, Saint Francis' Lance Marifke and Sun Prairie's Jeff Boos.

"We've only had one practice so far because it's just so hard to get all the kids together," Petitgoue said. "In the short time we've been together, I've been very impressed with them. We've got a very good group of kids."

The girls team will be coached by Oshkosh West head coach Niki Sutter and assisted by Pewaukee head coach Todd Hansen and Oshkosh West assistant coach Randy Gorske.

The team includes Allazia Blockton (5-10) of Dominican, Shakeela Fowler (5-3) of Milwaukee King, Natisha Hiedeman (5-7) of Green Bay Southwest, Taylor Hodell (6-2) of DC Everest, Sammy Kozlowski (5-8) of New Berlin Eisenhower, Ally May (6-2) of Arrowhead, Emma Roenneburg (6-2) of Adams-Friendship, Jasmin Samz (5-9) of Wausau West, Amani Wilborn (5-10) of Milwaukee Riverside, and Frankie Wurtz (5-8) of Kimberly.
