Hannah Stefaniak of West De Pere girls basketball has been selected as the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week for the week of February 9 through 15 after a statewide vote on WisSports.net. 

There were 5,771 votes this week and it came down to the wire. Stefaniak finished with 2,516 votes, while Emma Lawrence of Benton/Shullsburg girls basketball compiled 2,456 votes. 

Stefaniak finished with a game-high 19 points to help the Phantoms capture a share of their first Bay Conference title since 1980.

She went 12-for-14 from the free throw line in the victory on Friday night. Stefaniak also scored 8 points in their 75-39 win over Marinette on Tuesday. 

She is averaging 10.1 points per game for the Phantoms who are 17-4 and ranked No. 7 in the Division 2 WisSports.net Coaches Poll. 

The Phantoms can win the outright Bay Conference title with a win at New London tonight.
