Maddie Nelson of Hudson girls track & field has been selected as the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week for the week of March 23 through 29 after a statewide vote on WisSports.net. 

There were 2,998 votes this week with Nelson receiving 1,398 of them. Joe Novak of Catholic Memorial boys track & field finished second with 1,058 votes. 

Nelson finished in first in the triple jump (35-03.00) and long jump (16-09.75) at the Blue Devil Invite held at UW-Stout in Menomonie on last Tuesday.
