Inside the Top Five
Its status quo inside the top five. All five look to be primed and ready for their postseason runs as all of the top five teams received one seeds in their respective sectional.
No. 1 Arrowhead
No. 2 Janesville Craig
No. 3 Bay Port
No. 4 Kimberly
No. 5 Denmark
New And Climbing
No. 24 Janesville Parker looks to be on a bit of a hot streak at just the right time. Last year’s sectional champs have won nine in a row heading into the playoffs.
West De Pere climbed into the top ten at No. 7 beating Appleton North. The Phantoms have improved to 21-5 headed into the playoff where they earned a three seed in probably the toughest sectional in the state.
Neillsville jumped up to No. 13 beating Aquinas. The two are likely to match up again in about a week in their sectional semi-finals.
Down And Out
Aquinas dropped to No. 11 losing twice last week. Once to Viroqua and once to Neillsville.
Watertown dropped to No. 23 after losing twice this week to No. 1 Arrowhead. Watertown still got a No. 1 seed in their sectional but will have to go through Sun Prairie to get to the state tournament.
