Week 3 Rushing Leaders

Auburndale found itself down 18-13 at halftime to Rib Lake/Prentice on Friday Night, but the Apaches got things turned around in the second half in a big way, thanks in large part to Kurt Jankowski. He rushed for four touchdowns in the second half, finishing the game with 21 carries for 307 yards and 5 scores. He also added a 6-yard reception in the 47-24 victory.

Week 3 Receiving Leaders

Kohler/Sheboygan Lutheran/Christian moved to 3-0 (received forfeit win vs Cedar Grove-Belgium in Week 1 after CGB used an ineligible player) on the season with a 33-26 victory over Mishicot Friday night. The co-op program is just one conference win away from being playoff-eligible, as it has never made the playoffs as a co-op. None of the teams in the co-op have made the playoffs since Kohler did so in 1999. The performance by Michael Chorowicz against Mishicot was outstanding, as he hauled in 7 receptions for a state-best 258 yards and 4 touchdowns. He also recorded 11 solo tackles and an interception on defense, while adding a 50-yard kickoff return (not for a TD) as well.
