WIAC Athletes of the Week

FOOTBALL
Offense
Dan Arnold, Junior (Fargo, N.D./Shanley), Wide Receiver of UW-Platteville
Arnold was the Pioneers’ go-to wide receiver on Sept. 19, hauling in 10 catches for 110 yards, with two touchdowns. His first touchdown grab was a 16-yard strike that he hauled in with one hand. His second touchdown catch of the day helped rally UW-Platteville to their 35-28 comeback win over No. 13-ranked North Central College (Ill.).

Defense
Andrew Robinson, Senior (Arcadia, Wis.), Defensive End of UW-Platteville
Robinson spent the afternoon in the Cardinal backfield in the Pioneers’ 35-28 comeback win over No. 13-ranked North Central College (Ill.) on Sept. 19. He had two and a half quarterback sacks in the victory.  Robinson also tallied six total tackles, including four and a half tackles for a loss, and hurried the quarterback three times.

Dillon Villhauer, Junior (Oxford, Iowa/Clear Creek Amana), Wide Receiver of UW-Platteville
Villhauer returned a punt 75 yards for a touchdown in the fourth quarter of the Pioneers’ comeback win over No. 13-ranked North Central College (Ill.) on Sept. 19. His touchdown capped off a 21-point comeback for the Pioneers, and tied the game at 28 with 2:38 remaining in the fourth quarter.
