After runner-up finish, Aquinas listed as favorite in Division 3 baseball preseason rankings
Aquinas held a 4-2 lead heading to the bottom of the 7th inning in last year's Division 3 championship game, but Lake Country Lutheran rallied for 3 runs and the title in walk-off fashion.
The Blugolds of Aquinas could get another shot, as they are selected as the #1 team in the preseason rankings published this week by the Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Association.
Lake Country Lutheran is close behind in 2nd, as Pacelli, Prairie du Chien, and Marathon round out the top five.
