Milwaukee Lutheran was just 13-13 entering the 2015 spring baseball Division 2 playoffs, receiving a 4-seed. We knew the Red Knights' record belied their talent, as they compete in the very challenging Little Ten Conference.

However, their run to a state title, which included a pair of one-run victories in Appleton, showed just how good they truly were. With a good amount of talent back, Milwaukee Lutheran opens the season as the favorites to repeat in Division 2 in the Baseball Wisconsin Yearbook rankings.

The Madison area is well-represented in the top five, which includes Lodi, Madison Edgewood, Altoona, and River Valley.
