Hunter Marko of Amery wrestling has been selected as the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week for the week of February 22 through 28 after a statewide vote on WisSports.net. 

There were 3.772 votes this week with Marko receiving 1,705 of them. Brooklyn Wolosyn of Niagara girls basketball finished second with 1,119 votes. 

Marko became the 14th wrestler in state history to win four state titles. He won the 138-pound title in Division 2 this season with a 36-0 record. 

The University of Minnesota recruit finished his career with a 150-4 record.
