Hannah Whitish is the lone unanimous choice on the Division 5 WBCA All-State Team.
Gena Grundhoffer of Assumptoin and Kelly Tramburg of Fall River have earned All-State in each of the past three seasons.
Whitish is a four-time WBCA All-State selection and has led Barneveld to state tournament trips in all four years, including back-to-back Division 5 state titles. The Nebraska recruit has helped the Golden Eagles to a 109-3 record in her career, including a 37-game winning streak entering their state semifinal game. She is averaging 24.2 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.5 steals and 4 assists per game for coach Doug Pickarts and the Golden Eagles.
Grundhoffer has played a key role in Assumption’s four consecutive trips to the state tournament. The Lehigh recruit is averaging 17.2 points and 5.4 rebounds per game for coach Joe Birkhauser and the Royals.
Tramburg has helped the Pirates to WIAA State Tournament appearances the past two seasons, she is averaging 16.7 points, 11.1 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 3 steals per game. Fall River enters the state tournament with a 22-4 record.
Taylor Alseth of Frederic led the Vikings to their first regional title since 1992. She averaged 15.4 points, 13.6 rebounds, 6.2 assists and 3.3 steals per game for the Vikings.
Alyssa Klecker of Fall River helped the Pirates make a return trip to the Resch Center this season and moved up to First Team All-State after earning Honorable Mention laurels as a junior. She is third in the state in assists (8) and steals (7.4) and is also averaging 15.8 points and 7.5 rebounds per game for coach Jim Doolittle and the Pirates.
Julia Peplinski of Hustisford finished her sophomore campaign averaging 21 points, 11.2 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 2.7 steals per game for the Falcons.
Taylor Schneider of Turtle Lake led the state in scoring with 28.5 points per game, while also contributing 8.3 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 4.3 steals per game for the Lakers. The Minnesota-Duluth recruit connected on 59 three-pointers this season.
Karsyn Rueth of Loyal helped the Greyhounds to a 21-5 record and sectional semifinal appearance. She led the team with 16.7 points and 6.9 rebounds per game, while also knocking down 50 three-pointers.
Shemera Williams of Milwaukee Academy of Science burst on to the scene as a freshman, averaging 26 points, 10.3 rebounds, 8.1 assists and 8.3 steals per game. She also made 62 three-pointers for the Lady Novas who finished the year with a 20-3 record.
Mia Whitish of Barneveld has helped the Golden Eagles to back-to-back state titles and they will try for a three-peat this season. She is averaging 12.8 points and 3.3 rebounds per game for the undefeated Golden Eagles.
Macie Zurfluh of Assumption has played a key role in their four consecutive trips to the state tournament and earned First Team All-State honors this season after being named Honorable Mention All-State as a junior. She is averaging 11.7 points, 3.2 assists and 3.8 steals per game for the Royals.
