Below are the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees for the week of May 2 through 8. Voting is open until Thursday at 4pm, so be sure to vote for who you feel is most deserving and spread the word. Users may vote once per day.

PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees: May 2-8

Christopher Evenson, Valders boys track & field: Evenson finished first in the discus (180-11) and shot put (50-05.25) at the Two Rivers Invite on Friday. His throw in the discus is the best in the state this season. 

Rowen Kilawee, Amherst/Iola-Scandinavia girls soccer: Kilawee scored 10 goals in three games last week. She netted 4 goals in wins over Wautoma (6-0) and Adams-Friendship (6-0), along with scoring 2 goals in a 4-2 win over Antigo. 

Jordyn Kleman, La Crosse Logan softball: Kleman led the Rangers to a 5-0 record last week and pitched three no-hitters which gave her four consecutive no-hitter when you include her no-hitter on the previous Saturday. Wins last week included: no-hitter against Tomah (13-0), perfect game against Sparta (10-0), no-hitter against Onalaska (13-0), win over D1 No. 2 Westosha Central (8-3) at the Poynette Jamboree, and a win over D2 No. 5 Luxemburg-Casco (3-0) at the Poynette Jamboree. Kleman, a Winona State recruit, tallied 63 strikeouts in 28 innings for the Rangers, who are ranked No. 2 in the Division 2 WFSCA/WisSports.net Coaches Poll. 

Keith Kutzler, Kenosha Tremper baseball: Kutzler went 2-for-4 with a home run, 4 RBI and 2 runs scored to help the Trojans to a 7-6 win over top-ranked Arrowhead on Friday. 

Kylie Swiekatowski, De Pere girls track & field: Swiekatowski finished first in the pole vault at the Seymour Invitational on Thursday. She went 12 feet, 6 inches at the event to put her on top of the wisconsintrackonline.com honor roll in the pole vault. Kylie also ran a leg of the 4x100 relay that finished second at the Seymour Invite with a time of 51.68. Swiekatowski signed a national letter of intent to compete in the pole vault at Rice University, last week.
