Dawson Kiphart of Two Rivers football has been selected as the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week for the week of August 29 through September 4 after a vote on WisSports.net. 

There were 1,773 votes this week; Kiphart finished with 747 votes, edging Jenna Rombalski of D.C. Everest girls' volleyball by 77 votes. 

Kiphart accounted for 7 touchdowns in the Purple Raiders 62-29 win against New Holstein. He went 23-for-32 passing for 318 yards and 4 touchdowns, and carried the ball 9 times for 34 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Two Rivers, 3-0 overall and 1-0 in EWC, hosts Valders on Friday at 7pm.
