Below are the PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees for the week of May 22 through 28. Voting is open until Thursday at 4pm, so be sure to vote for who you feel is most deserving and spread the word. Users may vote once per day.

PlayInTheDells.com Athlete of the Week Nominees: May 22-28

Shawn Bunkelman, Edgar baseball: Bunkelman went 2-for-3 with a double and 2 RBI to help the six-seeded Wildcats upset No. 3 seed Prentice in a Division 4 WIAA Regional on Thursday. 

Erin Cerveny, Shawano softball: Cerveny hit the go-ahead 3-run home run in the top of the 8th inning in Shawano's 13-9 win over top-seeded Seymour in a Division 2 Regional Final. She also hit a 2-run home run in the 7th inning. 

Taylor Kerwin, Whitefish Bay girls soccer: Kerwin recorded a hat trick in Whitefish Bay's 5-1 win over Grafton on Tuesday. Taylor is 10th in the state with 37 goals and 11th in points with 79. 

Austin Marquardt, Coleman baseball: Marquardt tossed a two-hitter in the Cougars 6-0 win over Marinette in a Division 3 Regional on Thursday. At the plate, Austin finished with two hits and three runs scored. 

Kayla Schwebke, Laconia softball: Schwebke finished with 18 strikeouts and broke the state record for career strikeouts in Laconia's 8-0 win over Mayville in a Division 3 Regional Final.
