Level 2 Team of the Week Nominees:

Bay Port - To borrow from LeBron James, "Not one, not two, not three..." Instead, it took four overtimes for the Bay Port Pirates to finish off the Stevens Point Panthers in a thrilling Division 1 playoff game. It was a tight game throughout, as Stevens Point tied it up at 36 with just over a minute remaining to force overtime. Both teams scored in the first two overtimes, and in the third extra period, Bay Port got a touchdown and two-point conversion to go up by eight. However, Stevens Point answered to force a fourth overtime. Finally, Bay Port got a stop on SPASH's possession, and scored a walk-off win on a two-yard touchdown plunge from Ryan Smith for a 57-51 marathon win. Smith finished with four touchdown runs...on just seven yards and six carries. Isaiah Gash racked up 191 yards and a pair of scores on the ground.

Bloomer - It was a classic Heart O'North versus Middle Border showdown we've seen so many times over the years in the Division 4 playoffs. In a game that featured not a single completed pass, Bloomer's rushing attack proved superior in a 18-12 win over the top-seeded and previously unbeaten Chieftains. Caleb Ruf had 164 yards and 2 touchdowns, while Zach Ruf finished with 129 yards and a score.

Hartford - Hartford has looked very good this year, and kept their resurgent season alive with a 31-28 double-overtime victory at second-seeded Menasha on Friday. The game was tied at 21 heading into the first extra period as both teams got scores to open things up. In the second overtime, Hartford got a stop on defense, then marched down to win it on a 17-yard field goal from A.J. Arndt. Tristan Bradley completed 16 of 26 passes for 195 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the victory.

Muskego - The Warriors have been a bit of a Jekyll and Hyde team this season, but one of the state's toughest schedules prepared the team extremely well, and they showed just what they are capable of in a 36-15 win over top-seeded and previously unbeaten Racine Horlick. The Warriors' defense held the potent Rebels rushing attack to just 92 yards, while their own running game racked up 270 yards and 4 touchdowns in a dominating victory.

Stratford - Stratford winning at Stanley-Boyd wasn't shocking in and of itself, but for the Tigers to shutout and put a running clock on the previously undefeated Orioles was very surprising. It was a bit of revenge from a 21-14 loss the Tigers suffered against Stanley-Boyd back in Week 1 of the season. Stratford's defense was smothering, limiting Stanley-Boyd to just 123 yards of offense. A balanced rushing attack put up 279 yards and 4 touchdowns for Stratford, who also had 92 yards through the air.
