Last year's runner-up Waupun pegged as preseason favorite in Division 2 baseball rankings
Waupun came up just short of a state title last season, finishing as the Division 2 runner-up after dropping an 8-6 decision to West Salem in the championship game.
The Warriors have all the makings of a state tournament team once again, and the return of almost the whole roster earns them the top spot in the Baseball Wisconsin Yearbook Pre-Season Division 2 Rankings.
Rounding out the top five are Catholic Memorial, Jefferson, Beloit Turner, and Columbus.
