The WSN15 series will celebrate the 15th Anniversary of WisSports.net by looking back at the top players, teams, and moments of the past 15 years (2003-2017).

The WSN15 boys' basketball series continues with the Top 15 Players of the WSN Era.

J.P. Tokoto

J.P. Tokoto was about as athletic as any high school basketball player to ever graduate from a Wisconsin high school.

The 6-foot-6, 185-pound small forward from Menomonee Falls was the master of crowd-pleasing, one-handed dunks as well as come-out-of-nowhere blocked shots.

During his four years of varsity basketball at Menomonee Falls, Tokoto scored 1,737 points and grabbed 1,014 rebounds. He averaged 24.6 points, 11.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.6 steals per game as a senior during the 2011-12 campaign, helping the Indians to a 14-10 record.

During his senior season, Tokoto scored a career-best 48 points in a 72-68 victory over non-conference foe Catholic Memorial.

Tokoto earned first-team all-state honors from the Associated Press as a senior and junior, and second-team laurels as a sophomore.

On March 3, 2011, Tokoto announced he would accept a scholarship offer from North Carolina to play basketball for the Tar Heels.

Tokoto spent three seasons at North Carolina and had career scoring averages of 6.7 ppg and 4.4 rpg in 107 contests. He opted to turn pro following his junior season in 2014-15.

Tokoto was selected with the 58th pick in the 2015 NBA Draft, but has yet to play a game in the league, despite appearing in several pre-season games with both the Philadelphia 76ers and New York Knicks.

After playing two years in the NBA G-League, Tokoto signed with the Perth Wildcats in the Austrailian professional league for the 2017-18 campaign.
