Beloit Turner's Kailyn Packard has been selected as the top senior pitcher as part of the WSN Senior Softball Awards

Packard posted a 12-0 record with 142 strikeouts and didn't allow an earned run. Her season was unfortunately cut short after suffering a knee injury on May 1.

She twirled six no-hitters and recorded 11 shutouts. Kailyn also set a career-high with 20 strikeouts in a game this season.

At the plate, Packard hit .558 with 29 hits, 25 RBI and 10 runs scored. She finished with six doubles, three triples and a home run.

The NCAA Division I University of Missouri-Kansas City recruit was named first team WFSCA All-State as a junior, third team as a sophomore and honorable mention as a freshman.

Packard, who finished her career with a 50-8 record and 1.49 ERA, helped the Trojans reached the state tournament twice in her career, including finishing as the Division 2 state runner-up last season.

Beloit Turner ended the year with a 20-1 record.

Finalists for the award were Packard, Green Bay Preble's Brittany Baneck, Freedom's Payton Dorn, Oak Creek's Becca Oleniczak, New Berlin West's Cheyenne Sowinski and Greenfield's Alyssa Vilkoski
