Pools A-B MVP:
Jacob Ognacevic, 6-7, Jr., F, Sheboygan Lutheran

The numbers emerging class of 2020 forward Jacob Ognacevic put up against quality competition were nothing short of outstanding. Consider ... 21 points, 3 three-pointers and 4 of 4 from the foul line against De Pere; 34 points, 4 triples and 8 of 10 from the foul line against Winnebago Lutheran; 21 points, 1 three-point basket and 2 of 3 from the foul line against Racine Lutheran; 28 points, 1 three-point basket and 7 of 10 from the free-throw line against Berlin; and 22 points and 4 of 4 from the line against Marshall. Sheboygan Lutheran won all five games and Ognacevic was virtually unstoppable, even against the rugged frontline of De Pere's Brad Nies (6-7) and Jack Coisman (6-6). He ability to score facing the basket from the perimeter, off the dribble and with up-and-under moves around the basket make him extremely difficult to defend.

Luke Pingel, 6-6, Sr., F, Freedom

Pingel and an active and extremely mobile big man who can get out on the break and finish through traffic bey putting the ball on the floor and using his size to score over defenders. He scored in double figures in three of five games at Plymouth for the very balanced Irish, including 13 in the Pools C-D title-game victory over Bonduel. Pingel is long and athletic, and he can score in the post. He averaged 11.9 points per game as a junior for coach John Miron at Freedom and appears poised for a big senior season for a Freedom squad expected to contend for the title in the deep North Eastern Conference.

Pools E-F MVP:
Jack Baldwin, 6-3, Sr., PG, Howards Grove

Making solid basketball decisions with the ball in his hands is a huge attribute for any lead guard, and Baldwin did exactly that for Howards Grove all weekend long in Plymouth. A physically strong point guard with outstanding size and an excellent feel for the game, Baldwin is effective scoring or setting up his teammates. He scored 22 points in the Tigers' Pools E-F title-game victory over Clear Lake, but his all-around hustle, defense and ability to finish through contact were as impressive as his scoring ability. Baldwin is definitely the on-the-floor leader for another very talented team at Howards Grove.

20-Person All-Tournament Team:
Bailey Blanchard, 6-4, Sr., Clear Lake
Brant Bohman, 5-11, Sr., Marshfield
Max Beuthin, 6-4, Jr., Ripon

Note: Hilbert took Catholic Central's place in the title game due to injuries sustained by the Catholic Central players in earlier games.

Pools G-H MVP:
Keegan Kubicki, 5-11, Sr., G, University School

Aggressive, athletic and skilled pretty much sum up the attribute for Kubicki, who played at an extremely high level in all five of the Wildcats' victories in Plymouth. He scored a total of 78 points in the five games for an average of 15.6 points per game. He attacked the basket by using his explosive quickness to get around defenders while also knocking down three-point jump shots. Kubicki is a hard-working player on both ends of the court who averaged 11.1 ppg as a junior and teams with seniors Mao-Teo Holland (6-0), Tylan Huff (6-3) and Mike Wilson (6-1) to give coach Sylvester Cutler one of the elite backcourt trios in the Midwest Classic Conference.
