With school starting for some and around the corner for others, now is the time to register for the annual Wisconsin Sports Network Basketball Showcase.

You can register for the event here

The Showcase will be held at the spacious Kettle Moraine High School Fieldhouse for the first time with Lasers' coach Brad Bestor among many highly respected high school coaches working the event.

The date is Sunday, September 16 with registration/warm-up for the boys' players from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., followed by a Player Meeting at 12:15 p.m., Team Practices from 12:30 to 1:00 p.m. and games from 1:00 to 5:30 p.m.

Each year, the Showcase attracts outstanding high school basketball players from across the state along with college coaches from Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, Iowa and Illinois.

Each college coach in attendance receives a Showcase roster that includes name, school, height, year in school and position.

The Showcase is ideal for varsity high school players who want to pursue playing basketball at the collegiate level.

In addition to outstanding competition against stellar competition and exposure to collegiate programs, results from the Showcase again will be featured on WisSports.net.

WSN boys' and girls' basketball editors Mark Miller and Norbert Durst, respectively, will be attendance and write/tweet on the Showcase.

Registration remains open, though spots are filling fast.
